The annual Dom N Ali’s Golf Tournament, held on July 14th at the Wilkes-Barre Golf Club, successfully brought together 100 golfers and 38 business and individual sponsors. Organized by Pino and Michele, owners of Dom N Ali’s Restaurant, who have been incredibly supportive of the fire company over the years, the event was a notable success.
A brief rain and storm delay in the morning didn’t dampen spirits, and participants enjoyed a full day of golfing. Following the tournament, players gathered for a buffet dinner at Dom N Ali’s Restaurant in Jim Thorpe, PA. The event concluded with the distribution of various prizes, including a raffle for a television generously donated by a local family.
Proceeds of the event were donated to the fire company to purchase protective gear and essential equipment for fighting fires. The community’s support through this event, driven by the dedication of Pino and Michele, will bolster the fire company’s resources and readiness.
