With the recent snowfall and clearing of the streets, make sure your house address sign is visible for emergency personnel.  Having a reflective address sign allows for the numbers to be read day or night and won’t fade over time. You can either mount your address sign on a post or mailbox, just make sure it is located at the bottom of your driveway and clearly visible from the road. If we can’t find you, we can’t help you!

According to the Penn Forest Township Ordinance 2003-03, all residents are required to have a 911 Address posted on their property and should be visible for emergency personnel. Those who fail to comply with this ordinance are subject to a fine up to $600.00.

Reflective address signs can be purchased through the Penn Forest Twp Vol Fire Co No. 1 website or at the Penn Forest Township building.
